Australian folk troubadour Cooper Lower is quickly garnering a reputation as one of Australia’s most captivating young songwriters. His poignant lyrics and soaring melodies have captured the hearts of thousands throughout North America, Europe and Australia, propelling him on a journey from the streets of London into renowned international venues and major festival stages.

Cooper began his journey as a rising star of the global fingerstyle guitar scene, sharing his compositions on some of the biggest stages in acoustic guitar, including the Melbourne International Guitar Night (Aus) and Fretmonkey Records Guitar Showcase (New York, USA). He has twice been a finalist of Folk Alliance Australia's Young Artist of the Year and was named Emerging Artist of the Year by the Port Fairy Folk Festival in 2019.
In 2022, Cooper returned from a two year professional hiatus and has since been based in London as an artist, songwriter and producer. In 2023, Cooper played throughout the UK, Germany, Netherlands, Switzerland, Poland, Cyprus, Spain and Australia.
His major festival appearances include Queenscliff Music Festival (Aus), Port Fairy Folk Festival (Aus) and Tollwood Winterfestival (Germany). Notable tour supports include artists such as Caravana Sun, Daniel Champagne, Shaun Kirk and Nathan Cavaleri.
Cooper is preparing the release of his newest body of work, Conversations. The project was recorded in 2023 with renowned Polish film composer/producer Kris Gorski and will be released over the course of 2024.
